Raise the Roof  Academy

Uganda Mission

Chef Chandra was introduced to Raise the Roof Academy in Bwasandeku Uganda by a friend.  She joined her first mission trip in 2024.  She is committed to improve the health, and safety in the kitchen that serves about 2,000 children.

Chef Chandra is looking to raise enough for 2 washing stations to improve sanitation.

Drying Racks

In 2015 a mission team helped members of the community raise dish racks off the ground, however when cleaning for 2,000 children, drying so many dishes can be difficult.

Chef Chandra hopes to bring dish racks to the kitchen.

Food Storage

Working with the Ugandans Chef Chandra would like to find a way to store food safely, off the ground.
